1.0 Scope of Work 

1.1 Circuit Breaker Primary Injection Testing for the ACB’s onboard

Included contact & insulation resistance test on these breakers:

  • Hyundai HIAN 16 (1600A) – Bow Thruster Local Panel x 2
  • Schneider Masterpact NW12 H2 – BT MSB x 2 
  • Schneider Masterpact NW20 H1 – CAT x 4 
  • Schneider Masterpact NW12 N1 – DG x 3
  • Schneider Masterpact NT06 H2 – Emergency Generator
1.2 Reporting/Documentation 

Provided client with a fully documented electronic report in pdf format

including all test results, circuit breaker trip curve comparisons and relevant recommendations.

2.0 Schedule

To complete the above scope of work, approximately three days onboard the rig was required. One Electrical Engineer performed testing,  and one Electrical Technician Assistant was required for the removal & re-installation of Breaker from cubicle for testing and reinstallation of circuit breakers and isolations where required.
